The recent spell of fine weather has dried out our trails really well. All the surfaced trails are running brilliantly (Family Trail, Blue Verderers MTB Trail, Red Freeminers trail and all the Downhill lines)
The bluebells are starting to come out in many parts of the forest, plus we’ve seen wild boar, deer and even a goshawk while out on the trails this week.
Given the fine forecast it is essential you pre book bikes the day before you are looking to come down. We will have very limited “on the day hire” on a 1st come 1st served basis at the centre.
Downhill lines: The Dean Trail Volunteers have done an amazing amount of work recently with both Ski Run and Mr Rooty re-opened with some re-shaped features near the bottom. Check out the new top section of Corkscrew which now runs top to bottom with a new line lower down.
There are more downhill lines under construction. However if you do come across these, please stay off them as they haven’t been surfaced and are not yet ready to ride. Riding will just put back the opening for everyone else. Instead, plan another visit in a month or so when we will have even more cool lines!
The new Coaching and Advanced Skills area between Ski Run and Mr Rooty is now open ready for Easter weekend. It has jumps, drops and a little pump track for you to play on.
