The recent spell of fine weather has dried out our trails really well. All the surfaced trails are running brilliantly (Family Trail, Blue Verderers MTB Trail, Red Freeminers trail and all the Downhill lines)
PLEASE NOTE – THERE IS A RACE ON SITE ON SUNDAY AND PARKING WILL BE VERY LIMITED. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY (circa 9am) TO GET A PARKING SPACE.
Alternatively why not come Saturday or Monday instead? The forecast is better for these days ; )
The bluebells are starting to come out in many parts of the forest, plus we’ve seen wild boar, deer and even a goshawk while out on the trails this week.
Given the fine forecast for Saturday and Monday, with a few afternoon showers forecast for Sunday. IT IS ESSENTIAL you pre book bikes the day before you are looking to come down. We will have very limited “on the day hire” on a 1st come 1st served basis at the centre.
Downhill lines: The Dean Trail Volunteers have done an amazing amount of work recently with both Ski Run and Mr Rooty re-opened with some re-shaped features near the bottom. Check out the new top section of Corkscrew which now runs top to bottom with a new line lower down.
The new Coaching and Advanced Skills area between Ski Run and Mr Rooty is now open. It has jumps, drops and a little pump track for you to play on!
