The Downhill lines at the Cannop Cycle Centre have become the real home of UK grassroots riding and racing. The FOD is known for steep, slippery, rooty descents with a massive range of styles and features. From the “old skool” Sheepskull with its bombholes and rutted sections, to the big drops and jumps on GBU – you will have an amazing day on our trails. None of the downhill tracks are particularly long, 3-4 minutes max but you will get a huge number of runs in whether you are riding the uplift or pushing up and sessioning sections. There is also a rapidly increasing number of “Enduro” lines appearing right across the hill that will have all the long travel riders grinning from ear to ear. They are hard to find…but well worth the effort.
While a downhill rig is the ideal bike for a day on the uplift most of the way-marked trails can be happily tackled on a 150mm machine.
What are you waiting for???
