PLEASE NOTE: All bike hire is PRE BOOK ONLY, you can book up until midnight the day before.
*You will need to bring UK Photo Drivers Licence or Passport plus proof of address to collect your bike on the day*
We will provide a helmet with each hire but in the current climate we would recommend bringing your own helmet and gloves. Both can be purchased in our shop if your prefer.
All bikes will be washed and disinfected overnight.
For the hire of an E bike, you must be 14 years or over

COVID 19 Information
Cafe and seating is outside only. We have provided a covered marquee area in case the Great British weather doesn’t play ball.
We are taking contactless payment only to minimise contact points and there are sanitising gels available for customers at all service points
A one way system is in place – please follow all signage
All bikes are full day hire only and can only be pre-booked.
There is no option to hire bikes on the day.
Each bike is sanitised at the end of every hire.
Helmets are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own or get one from our shop.
Helmets are sanitised at the end of each day and then stored for a further 72 hours before being issued to customers.
We recommend that you ride with gloves and a helmet at all times.
You are now required to wear a face covering when entering the shop.
Please remove any gloves and use the sanitiser provided before entering the shop.
There are no changing room facilities, but you may take items home to try and return them within 14 days for a full refund if they don’t fit.
Forestry England have provided portaloos on site, so you can maintain social distancing while waiting for one to become free.
There are 6 toilets and you are recommended to bring your own hand sanitiser with you.
These are located just behind our outside cafe.
WATER AND FIRST AID
There is no water to fill bottles or first aid provision on site. Please ensure that you bring plenty of water with you, have an emergency first aid kit, and know how to use it !
You will need to know your location at all times and have a mobile phone to raise help.
It is well worth carrying a map or mapping device with you, so you are able to give an accurate location.
