Plan your ride

The Forest of Dean has downhill tracks to suit every ability. What will you ride?

With 14 Official Downhill trails from Blue to Double Black, you’ll find something to test you.

Downhill Trails

The Forest of Dean is famous for its’ steep, slippery, rooty descents with a massive range of styles and features.  From the “old skool” Sheepskull with its bombholes and rooty sections, to the big drops and jumps on GBU – if you have the expert technical skills, you’ll have an amazing day on these trails!

There are 14 Waymarked Downhill trails graded from Blue through to Double Black – expect to enjoy a huge number of runs on these 3-4 minute downhill tracks, whether you are riding the uplift or pushing/riding up and sessioning individual sections.

Enduro Lines

In addition to the variety of downhill tracks, there are also a rapidly increasing number of extreme level “Enduro” lines appearing right across the hill. These are guaranteed to have all the long travel riders grinning from ear to ear!  Sometimes hard to find, they are well worth the effort
