Locally Sourced & Home Cooked Food

Friendly Mallards Pike Cafe offers a wide range of wholesome, home made breakfasts, lunches, great coffee, amazing cake, local ice cream and spectacular views. We pride ourselves on sourcing the best local ingredients from the best local suppliers and we hand make over 90% of our menu items.  There’s usually delicious gluten free & vegan options too. Well behaved dogs are always welcome. And don’t forget to pick up a loyalty card!

Watch the Wildlife

Mallards Pike Lake is just perfect for wildlife watching, forest walks, waymarked trail running, getting an adrenaline buzz with GoApe, following the Gruffalo Trail or taking a break from your bike ride on the Family Cycle Trail. It’s a real Forest of Dean gem and is a popular spot to explore.

At Mallards Cafe you can sit in or relax on a lakeside picnic bench and soak up the view.
