Finding your feet: The core skills


Aim of the coaching day is to get you confident in riding blue trails and breaking down the basics including;
Basic Weight shifting
Using the gears
Basic Cornering
When to be in and out of the saddle

The session will break down the fundamental basics of mountain biking and hone in your core skills to improve your time on the trails! If you’re a total beginner and new to the sport or if you’ve been riding for a short while this session will be ideal for you and be a big confidence boost.

Session is 3 hours and starts at 10am. Please be ready to ride for 9.45am.

Maximum of 6 participants for the session.

    Fab course!! The instructor was very patient and gave us a good grounding of basic skills, and tailored it to include a few things we asked for too. He also had lots of advice on general bike stuff. Plenty of things to go and try now! I wasn’t very confident at the start but today I went out on a beginners ride with the Dames group and really enjoyed it…. it would’ve been a LOT harder without the course yesterday to boost my confidence!!
