We have Whyte E-160 S full suspension E-bikes with a 750 watt/hr battery, Bosch motor system and Rockshox suspension – perfect for all our mountain bike trails.
We also have the leisure Whyte Rheo and Coniston electric bikes – perfect for exploring the Colliers trail or slightly further afield.

All hire bikes can be pre booked (up to 11am on day of hire – subject to availability) – You must be over 18 to hire
You will need to bring UK Photo Drivers Licence or Passport plus proof of address to collect your bike on the day
A £1000 deposit will be taken for E Mountain bikes and £250 for E Leisure bikes and full suspension Mountain bikes

You have 30 minutes to complete your online booking once the items are in your basket
Photographic ID (Physical Driving license or Passport) and proof of address. Driving license can be used as proof of address.

No, all hires are one flat rate and the bikes can be picked up and dropped off any time between our opening and closing hours.
No, you can book online and we also accept walk in bookings provided we have the bike/s available.
Currently, none of are Ebikes are able to have any accessories fitted.
Pedalabikeaway, located at the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre, is the only Forest of Dean E-Bike Hire with direct (traffic free) access to both Colliers Trail (previously known as The Family Cycle Trail) and world-class mountain bike trails. There is also a café, toilets and shop on site.
Our bikes are available to hire by the day, 7 days a week. All bike hires must be pre-booked (up to 11am on day of hire – subject to availability). Please note you will need to bring UK Photo Drivers Licence or Passport plus proof of address to collect your bike, together with a credit or debit card in the name of the lead hirer.
Our hire bikes are expertly maintained, cleaned and disinfected every day. We provide bike helmets, but you’re welcome to bring your own or buy from our shop.
