Trail Access
Forestry England variety of trails suitable for different skill levels. These trails are designed to accommodate both beginners and expert riders. Clear signage indicates the difficulty level of each trail.
An organisation call Goals Beyond Grass run session from the Cycle Centre on a variety of adaptive bikes.
Parking
Designated car spaces are provided next to the hire yard by Forestry England.
Toilets
We have a Changing Places toilet complete with hoist / changing platform. If you do not have a radar key please ask in the shop. This toilet also has baby changing facilities.
Shower
A shower is available but is separate to the Changing places toilet and is 95 cm x 255 cm in dimension.
Café Entrance
The café entrance is wheelchair accessible, with no steps or barriers.
Seating Area
We provide indoor and outdoor (open and covered) seating options, with wheelchair inclusive benches. For younger guests high chairs are available. Our staff are available to assist visitors in finding suitable seating based on their needs.
Shop
The main entrance is up a ramp and through double glass doors with no step. It is fully wheelchair accessible.
Mallards Pike Café
In this location the café is located from a gradual path up and accessible door way into the building. The toilet block is near by with a designated accessible toilet.
Menu
Our café menu includes a range of options, including homemade breakfasts, lunches, cakes, ice creams, and coffee. We are mindful of dietary restrictions and offer vegetarian and gluten-free choices. All allergens are labelled.
Assistance
Our friendly staff is ready to assist visitors with placing orders, carrying trays, and answering any questions.
Dog-Friendly
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all areas. With water bowls provided next to our outdoor drinking fountain and benches have dog lead attachment loops.
Water
An outdoor drinking fountain can be found on the right hand side of our main café building and next to the bike wash.
Bike Spares
We hold a small range of bike spares for cyclists who may need minor repairs in our walk up workshop, open 10am – 3pm at weekends and during school holidays.
Trail maps are on information boards or paper copies can be purchased from the shop.
Signage
Clear signage throughout the centre provides information on facilities, trails, and safety guidelines.
Staff Training
Our staff is trained to communicate effectively with visitors of all abilities.
